Face check-in on-device
A relative face-fullness index (your baseline check-in = 100) from FaceIQ's face network, run entirely in this browser (MediaPipe face mesh + Rust/WebAssembly). Photos are downscaled here and stored only in this browser (IndexedDB), and included in Back up everything. It is a rough companion to the scale, not a body-fat measurement. Use it for direction, and trust the 80% ranges.

Face engine loads when you startSet-up for trend-grade check-ins
- Same spot every time. Mount the phone (shelf, tripod, books) at eye level about 1–1.5 m away, using the front camera. Hand-held selfies drift and distort.
- Same light. Same lamp, same time of day, light in front of you (not a window behind you). No camera filters, beauty mode or zoom.
- Neutral face: lips closed, eyes open, no glasses or hat, hair off the forehead.
- Open the camera and follow the arrows. When every check is green for 1 s it beeps, takes a burst of 8 frames and keeps only the frames that pass. It saves automatically.
